As a woman trying to build financial independence, I wasted money on business after business. Some products were hard to sell. Some sat in my house for weeks. Some businesses drained me more than they paid me.
Then I discovered children's wear — and everything changed. I realised that no matter how bad the economy gets, parents can never stop dressing their children. Birthdays, school, church, naming ceremonies — the demand never stops.
